Adult Chiropractic Care

The doctor of the future will give no medicine, but will interest his patient in the care of the human frame, in diet and in the cause and prevention of disease.” ~ Thomas Edison

Even in 1903, Thomas Edison knew that the future of medicine had to include a holistic approach. When drugs and surgery were becoming the norm, some sought natural methods to allow the body to heal itself.

Chiropractic prides itself on one basic concept:

The body will heal itself if there is no neurological interruption.

In order to allow for that, precise, gentle alignment of the spine must occur on a regular basis.

How does it work?

At NeuroWorks Wellness Center, there's no twisting, popping, or pretzel-like moves. We use gentle, low-force techniques on everyone. In our opinion, the least amount of force we have to put into the nervous system, the faster you restore balance to the nervous system.

While there are over 200 named chiropractic techniques, most people are used to "diversified," which is a catchall phrase for snap, crackle, and pop. Instead, we use the following techniques:

  • Activator Methods
  • NeuroEmotional Technique
  • Upper Cervical Specific (Toggle Recoil)
  • SOT
  • Arthrostim
  • Thompson
  • Flexion-Distraction

How long does it take?

The average visit in our office is 20-30 minutes after the initial evaluation. Our office visits are also all-inclusive, so you won't find yourself paying for multiple services separately (taping, hot/cold, laser, adjustment, acupuncture, etc.).

People choose a variety of care plans based on their goals. Often, people do need a corrective plan, which generally encompasses 3 months of active care (multiple times a week). Other times, people use our services for wellness care and only need to come in once or twice a month. Each person is unique, and we help you create the right treatment plan to meet your goals.

Our goal for you?

We want you to feel your best, be resilient to what life throws at you, and take ownership of your health. We only have one body, and our health is our greatest asset. We want to create a space where you feel comforted, guided, and calm, a place your nervous system can finally relax. We know that when we remove the stress of every day life, even if just for 20 minutes, the body can take time to heal. It is our honor to do that very thing for you at each visit.
